What is Tradition?

Mark Shea tackles this essential, but difficult to answer question in a fantastic article which he posted. In the Western World we want a list of definitive writings, statements, books... which make up Sacred Tradition. Perhaps when looking at this very important topic, we should take a lesson from our Eastern brothers and sisters. Sacred Tradition can't be pinned down that easy. It is the living and breathing life of the Church.
