I am sad to say that my once home state of New York has a same sex marriage bill nearing a vote which could redefine marriage in the Empire State.
Archbishop Dolan has written a very good blog post. One of the best quotes is, "Marriage is not simply a mechanism for delivering benefits: It is the union of a man and a woman in a loving, permanent, life-giving union to pro-create children." Well said!
