Two dear friends of my wife and I, Mike and Alicia Hernon, have started a podcast on parenting after much urging from friends and family. Their podcast is called Messy Parenting. Mike and Alicia have 10 kids and Mike is the Vice President of Advancement at the Franciscan University of Steubenville while Alicia is the On-Site Director of Domestic Affairs for the Hernon Household.What I really love about this podcast, besides hearing the voice of old friends, is their realistic approach to Catholic parenting. They do not water down their efforts to help their children grow up to be Saints and yet they are realistic and don't believe that being a Catholic family means your kids are perfect 24/7. They are very honest in sharing their own struggles.
